Mirza Omar Aqil is a renowned 3D CGI illustrator whose work redefines the rules of cubism by modernizing it into 3D shapes and objects with robot-like animation. Originally inspired by Picasso, Omar has made a name for himself by infusing the old with the new in groundbreaking ways. His journey into art began in childhood, where he was deeply influenced by his father, a painter and professional textile designer. Under his guidance, Omar developed a passion for creativity, learning the patience and skills needed to perfect his art. Over the years, he developed a signature style marked by bold textures, curvatures, and fluidity, making his work easily recognizable on a global scale. His breakthrough came in 2017 with the MIMIC series, where he brought 2D Picasso masterpieces into the 3D world using tools like Cinema 4D, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Omar’s unique style has drawn attention from major international brands. He has collaborated with Google, Lamborghini, Cadillac, Nike, Adidas, and Asics, and has created illustrations and motion works for numerous commercial projects. His exhibitions have been showcased in China, Lisbon, and several online platforms.
